Try our instant quoting platform!

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, we are pushing up the launch of our instant quoting platform in order to allow our customers and prospective customers to have 24/7 access to our services from any location. As of Monday, March 30, 2020, ProtoCAM’s instant quoting platform will go live. Our quoting link will connect users to a central quoting page where they may choose to use either our instant quoting platform or our traditional quoting form (“engineer-assisted quote”). This change will allow users to submit an order any time, day or night, and immediately begin the manufacturing process, enabling them to quickly determine price and receive their parts and prototypes faster than ever.

With our new instant quoting platform, users are able to upload their 3D CAD files and immediately see real-time costs in a variety of technologies, materials, and finish options prior to placing an order. We expect this new system to streamline our operations and allow users to order parts more quickly, while allowing our engineers to shift their focus to aiding customers with projects requiring additional assistance and helping to accelerate the 3D additive manufacturing process. Instant quoting is the latest service ProtoCAM is offering to continue to add value to our business and to our loyal customers and prospective customers.

The platform allows users to create private profiles, which they may utilize with each quote request. Projects can be reordered with the click of a button, with the additional option to make changes to materials, finishing options, etc. Within the platform, users can also experience how different materials and finishes change their final quote, which allows them to make appropriate budgetary decisions.

Currently, projects utilizing Multi Jet Fusion, Stereolithography, Fused Deposition Modeling, and PolyJet are quotable using our new instant quoting system. Our original engineer-assisted quoting form is still available and accessible via our central quoting page for our other technologies, as well as for projects requiring more in-depth assistance. Our engineer-assisted quoting form is addressed by our team of experienced engineers; quoting generally takes just a few hours, and requests for quotes are analyzed and answered personally by our team. We made the decision to offer both instant quoting and our traditional quoting form because we wanted to continue to offer our customers and prospective customers our personal and customized service, while also allowing for the convenience and speed of instant quoting.

With this new quoting platform, ProtoCAM hopes to streamline the quote-requesting process for our customers and prospective customers and make it easier than ever for their 3D additive manufacturing projects to be printed, finished, and delivered.
