Welcome to the team, Mason Ginder!
Mason is our newest Additive Manufacturing Technician/Specialty Finisher at ProtoCAM. He is an Emmaus, PA native and attended Emmaus High School. Mason graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kutztown University this past May.
During his college years, Mason worked a number of different seasonal jobs including: Terrain Park Supervisor at Bear Creek, Greens Keeper at a golf course, and a Tree Salesman at a nursery. His father owns a contracting company and he has helped out with the business since he was 13 years old.
Mason’s family is of a German background. He has no siblings, but two wonderful dogs that he loves: Summer, a yellow L
abrador and Jenny, a red Labrador. He enjoys spending time with them after work. Mason explains that he is “the cook of the house”. His favorite dishes to make include wild Alaskan salmon and filet mignon. His all time favorite dining experience and meal is Japanese Hibachi. In his free time, Mason enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking and playing disc golf. In fact, disc golf is what led to Mason’s employment at ProtoCAM.
Mason frequented the local Camp Olympic disc golf park near his home with his dogs. While at the park, he met current ProtoCAM team member, Doug, and they instantly hit it off. Doug knew that Mason was a recent graduate and was looking for work. Mason’s favorite task at work is applying the clear coating to finished parts. His regular duties include: sanding, scraping support lines, dyeing parts, and painting parts. “ My favorite thing about working here is being able to laugh with anybody, about anything”, explains Mason.
Fun Fact: Mason will be moving into his first home next weekend! He and his father renovated this new home together.
