3D CAD Modeling

An
important part of the product development cycle is the production
of 3D CAD models of your design. Those models are required
for the rapid prototyping technologies that ProtoCAM employs.
We have two professionally trained Plastics Engineers who are
proficient in the use of Pro/ENGINEER by Parametric
Technologies. From a simple napkin sketch or a fully dimensioned
2D AutoCAD model, they can create a 3D model that is ready
to be manufactured: complete with draft and proper injection
molding tolerances. In addition to Pro/ENGINEER, ProtoCAM also
uses SolidWorks by SolidWorks
Corporation. Both CAD packages are two of the industry's
most effective design tools for product prototype development. For
private entrepreneurs that may not have the capability of producing
blueprints, you have the option of sitting down with one of our
designers and designing the part in real-time. Once the computer
model has been created, the part can be rapid prototyped.
